What are three benefits you’ve experienced as a result of joining the mentorship program? 

I joined this program in hopes of helping contribute to furthering the domestic and global economic effort to build small businesses. After joining the program, I can now confidently say that I have other avenues to expand my business within the global market. Working with my mentor has given me the ability to contribute towards my local community and build more relationships with franchising partners. As a result, I am more familiar with other market areas to ensure the product I put forward is to the highest quality. Networking has proven to be really useful and the new network I have gained from the mentorship program will help me grow and further my business. 

What is one key takeaway that you have learned from the mentorship program? 

The new knowledge and sources of support that come from a mentor have helped me build my networking skills. Additionally, I have gained alternative solutions toward reaching and gaining access to  new international retail markets. This expansion can help grow my business and I now have the ability to reach these new goals due to the work and critical thinking discussions that I had with my mentor. 

If you were to recommend this mentorship program to someone, what advice would you give as a mentor or as a mentee? 

By joining the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women program, I realize that there are no boundaries to the world we live in. Through virtual technology, we can meet other female entrepreneurs who come from various backgrounds and knowledge sectors, all while building a positive mentor relationship. This has led to us building wonderful communications skills, and being more confident to lead our businesses. We are able to see different perspectives on world business issues, how to handle stakeholder relations with respect, and promote active encouragement towards other women in business.  

I am very satisfied with the program, as it not only has personally benefitted me, but it has allowed me to improve my community participation by being a better leader for my company. In doing so, my business is making better products that involve and connect more workers and resources from different industries all around Indonesia. This program encourages women to change their life and gain new knowledge, and I feel very blessed to have joined.
