What impacted you the most during your participation in the mentorship program? 

The strength exhibited by my mentee to achieve her professional dream in the face of societal and economic challenges was humbling. My deeper understanding of the ever-present obstacles women in business endure has been widely shared to help effect change and create a better world for all of us. 

What is one key takeaway that you have learned from the mentorship program? 

Listen. Carry no bias or pre-conceived understanding of your mentee's world, experiences or dreams. She is a found jewel and do everything you can to let her shine. Know that the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is there for your mentee and for you, and communicate openly and freely for any support you may need to help build the world they are deeply committed to realizing.

This is an outstanding program and it is an honour to be involved. The mentees, mentors and the team at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women are one community, an amazing collection of people who are dedicated to bringing about positive change and that do so every day.
