What made you choose to participate in the mentorship program over anything else you could have done?

Throughout my 15 years of experience in leadership and management with large companies, I wanted to do my part to mentor and share my leadership skills and knowledge with other women entrepreneurs. In return, I hope that this would improve myself as a mentor and leader, and to shape up businesses for new and upcoming women entrepreneurs.

What is one key takeaway that you have learned from the mentorship program?

Collaboration platforms, seminars and forums are all forms of communication that help develop your skills as a mentor. Utilizing your current skills and participating in the Mentoring Women in Business Program network has helped develop my leadership competencies. It has also encouraged me to start my own business in the future.

If you were to recommend this mentorship program to someone, what advice would you give as a mentor or as a mentee?

Finding time in your busy routine life to encourage other women across the world can bring great happiness and joy. To succeed in this program, it is important to be able to strike a balance between work and mentoring, keep a detailed schedule and agenda to plan and track goals, and manage time zone differences will help great deal in this program.
